Acceptable use policy

Setlys is for photos of your products. Here's what isn't allowed, and what happens if someone tries.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

What Setlys is for

For building photos of products you sell or promote, with your people and your brand. Everything you ask for must follow this policy, the terms of service and the law.

What isn't allowed

  • Sexual, explicit or suggestive content, nudity, or underwear shown in a sexual way.
  • Any content with minors, except products for children shown without people.
  • Deepfakes, face swaps, or editing the face or body of a real person.
  • Adding a person without their consent, or showing someone in situations they didn't choose.
  • Impersonating another person, brand or company.
  • Violence, weapons, hate, harassment, or content that harms anyone.
  • Infringing third-party trademarks, designs or copyrights, or making replicas of other brands' products.
  • Illegal or restricted products, such as drugs, unauthorized medicines or weapons.
  • Misleading photos: showing a product different from the one you sell, or with features it doesn't have.
  • Trying to get around Setlys's moderation or checks.

How we enforce it

Every request goes through automated moderation before we build the photo. If moderation blocks it, the photo isn't made and you aren't charged. Every photo also goes through a review that compares it with your product.

What happens if it isn't followed

We block the request. If it happens again or is serious, we may suspend or close the account, without refunding remaining credits, and notify the authorities if the law requires it.

If you see Setlys being misused, or a photo of you used without your permission, email us at support@setlys.com.
